| Villagers propose a toast at Adishi’s cemetery to commemorate the dead during the annual the Week of the Spirits festival. After they leave the cemetery for homes, it is believed that spirits follow them to spend a week in the houses along with the living. Even now Svaneti remains one of the most traditional regions in Georgia, with its unique culture and customs.
